After the Nexus 6, Huawei decided to make a better product with the Nexus 6. It’s the first ever Nexus that doesn’t make any hardware or software compromises and offers buyers a stunning metal design, top-end specs and an unadulterated version of Android. Elegant and high end smartphone, Google can be proud of the Nexus 6P.
Design
Visually, we can notice a strange area in the top of the phone, which is in fact a combination of different sensors on the back of the Nexus 6P.
The nexus 6P has a weight more than satisfactory of 178 grams, a metal body and a screen of 5.7” WOHD AMOLEO display with 518 pixels per inch. The metal is most likely one of the materials who best suits for the thermal plume so it will help to avoid some heating problem with the Qualcomm snapdragon 810 (3 Gb RAM).
The design is appreciable and has a good finish. However, its resistance needs to be confirmed as some are perplexed.
Display
The Nexus 6P owns a Samsung AMOLED panel with a pixel-dense quad-HD resolution.
Different to the IPSNEO from JDI previously used by Huawei, this screen has a bright lighting and a good rendering of screen colours.
Photography
Huawei and Google chose very good components, with some photosite of 1,55 µm (1,12µm for Motorola Nexus 6 and 1,22 µm for Iphone 6s). An excellent photographic quality is assured by an important work from Google. We observe am enhancement compared to previous Nexus through to the automatic focus infrared laser and the presence of a double flash CRI-90 a broad spectrum.
Security
Like the Iphone 6, the Nexus 6P has included an ergonomic fingerprint sensor. It is a fast and secure way to access at your apps, emails and photos on the go.
Battery
Nexus 6P is the first phone with the first UBS connect – get up to seven hours of use after only ten minutes of charging. Unfortunately, charging with cable is not an option for the Nexus 6P while Google is one of the first to push into using this technology.
Through to the cable USB-C both sides, it will be possible to charge a Nexus by plugging with another devices USB-C compatible. In the future, when the USB-C will be more common, it will be easy to help someone with no battery on his phone if we have the cable.
